The Iu-Mien Student Conference (IMSC) is an annual one-day conference providing Iu-Mien middle and high school students with interactive workshops and resources to pursue higher education, preserve culture and build community leadership.
Our S.A.E. Mien Youth Club meets weekly to provide a safe and fun environment for youths of all ethnicities to socialize with their peers through positive activities. The youth club provides opportunities to increase knowledge about the Iu-Mien culture and community, identify healthy and unhealthy signs of mental and physical health issues, and develop leadership and social skills.
We’re proud to partner with so many wonderful organizations who’ve helped us continue to provide services and programs to help with the advancement of the Iu-Mien community. We welcome and appreciate support from both public and private sectors to further develop and implement programs and services.
Iu-Mien Community Services (IMCS) provides education, health, and social services to more than 15,000 Iu-Mien people in the greater Sacramento area.
