Iu-Mien Language Classes
United Iu-Mien Community, Inc. currently receives a grant of $20,000
from SCUSD to provide an extended learning (after school) Iu-Mien
language literacy opportunity at Hiram Johson High School and Mutual
Housing at Lemon Hill Ave. The length of the program is from
December 2009 to June 2010. Adult students meet every Monday and
Tuesday (except holidays) from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Middle and High
School students meet every Wednesday and Thursday (except holidays)
from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM. All Iu-Mien students and parents residing
within Sacramento City Unified School District area are encouraged
to attend. If interested, please feel free to contact UIMC program
